Why is it not on tv anymore

  2. Linda says:

Are there any new shows scheduled? This was one of my favorite shows. I know every rerun by heart.

  3. Peter says:

I am a big fan of Forensic Files. This is one of my all time favorite tv show ever. I bought all 8 set of DVD and they are great. However, I would like to collect them all by seaons. Please release them by seasons instead of by category. There are millions of fans out there just like me who would love to buy the DVD for collection. Please release them in DVD.

  4. Linda Swanson says:

LOve this program. So glad I found it again.

  5. Jean says:

whats the name of the eerie music at the end of the program ??

  6. John Philippi says:

I miss seeing this show on TV. There are so few episodes I haven’t seen though. I wish they’d do more of them.

  7. Chris says:

You can watch old episodes on the weekends on HLN under a different title – “Mystery Detectives.” The shows are slightly re-edited (shorter intro sequence for one thing). Another drawback (or plus, depending on your point of view) is that HLN reruns the same episodes all weekend long. Actually, this weekend they’re rerunning the same episodes as LAST weekend, so I hope that won’t be a trend.

  8. Lee says:

HLN will have a Forensic Files marathon on tonight (1/4/14) from 7pm until 7am CST!

  9. Sonya says:

I watch this on HLN. They run commercials exactly every 5 minutes and the commercials themselves are 2-3 minutes long. It’s absolutely maddening. It’s just ridiculous. I have to dvr it; I’d go nuts otherwise. It’s such a fascinating show; the frequency of commercials really ruins it. I wish something could be done about it.

  10. Steve says:

The channel ID is blocking the text at the bottom screen, maybe they could place the ID at top right,

  11. Tim says:

I love this show to I’d really like to get the dvd set or sets anybody know where I could possibly get them?

  12. whit says:

When will new episodes be on???

  13. Brandi says:

what channel is this primarily on? CNN, or HLN? And when will a new season start?

  14. Jerrold Horgan says:

please please PLEASE bring back new episodes of “Forensic Files”. My wife and my favorite show!!!

  15. Anthony Smith says:

LOVE Forensic Files!!!! Watch it all the time. When is NEW episodes gonna be on?. Getting pretty familiar with current ones. :)

  16. Cyn says:

Hulu (Plus?) has more than 100 episodes of Forensic Files up. I’ve been watching those like crazy.

  17. Cyn says:

Netflix only has about 40 episodes, I think. Boo. :/

  18. Nancy says:

I definitely agree with many of the comments posted regarding the reruns being shown repeatedly. For someone like me who watches this show religiously, I get so frustrated seeing an episode repeated over and over and over and over again! Even with the promise of 100 new episodes, I am still seeing episodes repeated over and over again within a very short period of time. PLEASE consider changing the schedule of the shows so that they’re not being shown so often. Forensic files is one of the best shows on TV. It’s educational and informative. I’ve learned so much just watching it. I’m looking forward to seeing the new episodes to come.

While we produce Forensic Files, we have no control over which episodes air, and when. Those decisions are made by the network which licenses the series — in this case, HLN. If you’d like to take the time, you may wish to visit HLN’s website to express your views. — The Forensic Files Team

  19. eliane laforge says:

Please please stop showing us r reruns of forensic files. Why do you think people enjoy watching the same reruns over and over again for the last years. Enough!!!!!!! We are paying for that channel.

  20. Kim says:

I keep seeing that there is going to be 100 new episodes of Forensic Files but I still haven’t seen any new shows as of yet. Did this mean 100 episodes that we have never seen before or 100 new episodes filmed in 2014? If there are New Episodes they all seemed to have happened way back in 1980’s and 1990’s. No up to date episodes.

    • Bobbie Jean says:

The 100 episodes being promoted by HLN are newly-licensed, not newly-produced. Forensic Files is on hiatus and we don’t know when new episodes will be commissioned. When production resumes, we’ll announce it on forensicfiles.com. –The Forensic Files Team

  21. Mel says:

Is there a Facebook page for the show? I’d love to see updates in my Facebook news feed!

  22. Kiki says:

I’m watching “Cause of Death” on Investigation Discovery. It’s marked as a new series. But I swear these are just old Forensic Files shows given a new title. I know because I’ve watched just about every FF show run. Narrator is the same, music is the same and the old cases are the same. Are they one and the same?

    • Gin says:

I thought the same thing so looked up the episodes. They are the same. How ridiculous is that? I guess ID is so hard up for content that they think it’s worth rebranding a show people have already seen countless times. What’s wrong with calling it what it is? I guess this way they can date them all 2014, even though it seems a bit fraudulent to me.

    • Liz says:

Aw man! I thought they had finally created another good forensic show without all the drama & dragging it out and bad narration that they have now. Rats! I love the narration & no nonsense stores on Forensic Files.

  23. Jess says:

OMGoodness! I had typed in my google search cause of death and forensic files to see if I could find out if they combined the two. I RELIGIOUSLY watched forensic files on Crime tv (before tru tv) and then HLN. I KNOW for a fact that Cause of Death is forensic
Files!! All they did was change the name!! I HATE it too bc the episodes they’re throwing off as “new,” I’ve seen 20+ times!! Oh well
Glad to see I’m not crazy!! LMBO

    • Precious1 says:

Yes, it is Forensic Files titled another name possibly because HLN won’t release the name ?Yes, it’s a great show although not new on ID but it’s not being aired during prime time either.

  24. itphil0 says:

Please, please, please produce some new shows. I enjoy watching reruns but there is not a single episode that I have not seen. I’ve been watching this show from the beginning and I’m absolutely addicted. With all of the fans out there, new episodes would boost hln’s viewer ratings considerably.

  25. Amber A says:

Glad to see there are other fanatics just like me! I absolutely LOVE this show, so informative. My favorite show with “Snapped” coming in a close 2nd. Currently watching old episodes on Hulu I’ve never seen. Pleeeease bring it back! ((-:

  26. Mark says:

I really love this show! Thanks for explaining how this all works! I do agree that HLN is holding 100 Episodes over our heads and continuing to re-run us to death, I also DVR because of the commercials. Everyone that’s not happy contact HLN like I did. Keep up the great work!! Love the Show! Mark

  27. Patty Raddock says:

Glad to know I’m not crazy either, but it seems to me that while the stories and the narration on ID Channel’s “Cause of Death” are repackaged, the video seems to be HD.

  28. Steve says:

YES YES YES ~ Cause of Death is absolutely FF re-branded. Not cool for dedicated FF fans!

  29. Rick Starr says:

Yes, they fooled me with the new title (“Cause of Death”) and I suppose when they were on HLN as “Mystery Files.” But after watching one, I was sure it was just retitled “Forensic Files” and I was right. Calling them “a new episode” is misleading, if not outright false advertising.

  30. Curtis says:

I’ve been watching the show on Amazon Instant Video. They only have select episodes from each season. It is a great show amd I’m very I pressed by the detectives and scientists who solve these hanois crimes! I wander who would narrate new show if they were made? Peter Tho,as is the best narrator imo and he sure can sell it! He knows just how to sound when describing the villain!

  31. meja willams says:

  32. Susan says:

II enjoy Forensic Files and wish instead of changing the name, there would make new episodes. No matter what they decide to call the show it’s still forensic file episodes the last year I think was 2008 or 2009. What a shame

  33. Mariam says:

Please come out with new episodes. This is probably one of the best and most informative tv shows ever! Nothing could ever compare to forensic files. I am always having a bad day whenever I am aired a repeat episode I’ve seen a gazillion times and never a new. Also, I suggest selling a collection on DVD, they would sell fast!

  34. Lisa says:

Cause of Death is the new Forensic Files…new episodes & same great narrator…wtg on coming out with new episodes of an awesome & informative show!! Kudos!!
